In 1985, Sting’s first solo album, Dream of the Blue Turtles, connects two historical events: drug addiction and the Children’s Crusade movement in Germany in 1212. Sting took a modern approach when it came to the Children’s Crusade, connecting it to World War I when French, German, and English young men were being killed for no reason.

Lana Del Ray covered this 1960s hit by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood. Hazelwood originally wrote this song and recorded the hit in 67’ where the hit song made a debut in their joint EP called “Nancy & Lee.” Lana has compared herself to Sinatra as the modern “Gangster Nancy Sinatra.”

This song came into works when Noel Gallagher was watching a Champagne documentary and had mistaken a song by The Pixies Called "Bassanova." Gallagher then explains in an interview while writing this song; they realized some words mean nothing.

This song was inspired by The Beatles B-side of the Abbey Road Album.  Billy Joel found that the album was just a bunch of songs the Beatles have written in the past or bits of pieces of hooks they have written but never finished. Tiny Bubbles is one of Don Ho's hit songs.  He released the song in 1967, then two more years later, more than 30 covers were made as to its one of the most famous champagne songs.

This song was originally recorded by The Kingston Trio Brothers, with a folk style that landed on their Goin' Places album in 1961.  Later Sinatra made his own version with instrumentals and his extraordinary vocals that became a big hit, even leading to winning a Grammy for best male vocal performance and best instrumental arrangement with a vocalist. The phrase "It was a very good year" is usually applied to wine as wine ages within the years. Sinatra also uses the wine analogy to think about his past romantic life and lovers as his memories are aging well with time.
