2008 Dutcher Crossing "Taylor Reserve" Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
One 750ml bottle
Part of the Cabernet program since the birth of Dutcher Crossing, the renowned Taylor Vineyard, just over the hill from the estate, is a mix of ridge and hillside plantings. The higher elevation fruit is stressed, giving compact berries with intense flavors and aromatics. Aged in 100% French oak barrels, this Cabernet Sauvignon is blended with 3% Syrah and 5% Merlot, which enhances the brightness, brings out rich berry flavors and showcases a rich elegant body with complex character. This wine is stunning and balanced, a satisfying and pleasurable mouthful, with aging potential.
