2007 Gundlach Bundschu "Vintage Reserve" Estate Vineyard Red Blend
One 750ml bottle
The '07 growing season, while short on yields, produced wines of astounding concentration and expression. The '07 "Vintage Reserve" has intense color and aromas of black currant and violets. The palate has a lush and velvety texture, featuring deep, dark flavors of cassis, juicy black plum and blueberry with a dusting of dark cocoa and vanilla cream, and a long, concentrated finish. Firm tannins and vibrant fruit are ideally balanced for enjoying now, and will allow this wine to cellar elegantly up to 20 years from vintage.
