2009 Bargetto Regan Vineyards Reserve Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Noir

Bargetto Winery's '09 Reserve Pinot Noir has a color of deep garnet stones. Aromas of fresh cherries and plums on the front of the nose are closely followed by notes of leather and spice. The fresh fruit and chewy earth flavors fill every corner of the palate, mingling with oak on the lingering finish. This Pinot can stand to be laid down for five to ten more years or enjoyed now with anything from a selection of cheeses to a New Zealand Rack of lamb.
