2008 Three Sticks Durell Vineyard Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
One 750ml bottle
This wine is ripe and dark, displaying aromas of spice, black raspberry, black cherry and a foresty intensity. It transitions to intense black fruit on the mouth, showing good structure and weight and carries on with ripe, juicy fruit in the mid-palate. Vibrant cherry fruit flavor continues in the balanced, full and long finish. This wine displays Durell Vineyards’ unique and rich terroir.
Durell Vineyard, situated on a 200 acre lot, bisecting the Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Coast and Carneros AVAs is a very special locale. With the Pacific Ocean 30 miles west, the northern stretches of San Francisco Bay just 10 miles south, and a 2,400 foot mountain range immediately north, this is a unique configuration of land. Considered one of the top five vineyards in Sonoma County, it consistently produces wines of great depth and complexity. Over twenty five wines from Durell have been given a rating of 92+ including wines from Kistler,Patz & Hall and Chateau St. Jean.
