2009 Dutcher Crossing Stuhlmuller Vineyard Alexander Valley Chardonnay
One 750ml bottle
Light yellow and pale straw in color, this Chardonnay has bright floral aromas and flavors of lemon, vanilla and crème brûlée. Reminiscent of Burgundy, there is a wonderful mineral aspect to the palate, as well as sweetness interwoven with balanced acidity.
Stuhlmuller Vineyard is situated in the lower reaches of Alexander Valley where the three appellations of Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley and Chalk Hill converge. Recognized as one of Alexander Valley’s great Chardonnay vineyards, the Stuhlmuller Chardonnay vineyard has been planted on an ancient gravely riverbed derived from the meandering flows of the nearby Russian River.
