2009 Bargetto Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay

The '09 Santa Cruz Mountain Chardonnay is a gorgeous golden straw in appearance and exhibits melons and minerals followed closely by sweet oak on the nose. The mouth-watering palate features fresh sliced cantaloupe and wet stones rounded out by the oak. Malolactic fermentation and lees stirring provide a soft mouthfeel and lengthy finish.
Bargetto’s Regan Estate Vineyard is located on a southwest slope in the Santa Cruz Mountains, overlooking the majestic Monterey Bay. This cool climate vineyard allows the grapes to develop rich and complex flavors over an exceptionally long growing season. Bargetto is committed to sustainable winegrowing practices such as biodiesel, solar electricity, and biological pest control.
