2010 Bargetto Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Grigio
One 750ml bottle
From an uncharacteristically cool vintage, the '10 Santa Cruz Mountains Pinot Grigio is a lovely light straw in appearance, with pronounced white peach and nectarine on the nose. A touch of honeycomb aroma, more subdued in this vintage than normal, also presents itself. The cool growing season helps keep the zingy acidity intact, carrying the freshness of this wine from the front of the palate through to the finish. A great wine to contrast an extra buttery dish, it will also complement most any cheese plate that can be put together, or be enjoyed on its own on a long, hot summer day.
