2007 Meander Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
One 750ml bottle
Winemaker Amy Aiken fashions wine from vineyards that she believes offer superior aromatics, flavors, textures and character. This wine composed of grapes from Morisoli Vineyards in Rutherford and Lewelling Vineyards in St. Helena is no exception. Surprisingly open and approachable, the '07 Meander Cabernet exhibits commanding aromas of black cherry, blackberry and pie spice. The flavors are lush and mouth-filling with neatly integrated tannins and a suggestion of licorice. The finish is long and velvety. This is one of those rare Cabernet Sauvignons that showed well from day one and will continue to evolve for the next decade.
