2008 Icaria Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
One 750ml bottle
The '08 Icaria Cabernet Sauvignon evokes memories of mocha, black cherry, vanilla, cedar box and exotic spices. This rugged hillside fruit presents a mouthful of generous age-worthy structure of mineral and graphite. The extended hang time provides a wonderful mid-palate of sweet berries, caramel and butterscotch that seem to linger on the palate forever. The '08 is a beautifully balanced wine to casually drink with friends or to pair with a serious entree.
