2009 William James Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
One 750ml bottle
This Pinot Noir comes from a first year crop at Makenna’s Vineyard adjacent to White Hills Vineyard in the Santa Maria Valley. The vineyard is planted with the Martini Clone grafted from the famed Bien Nacido Vineyard and is named after the owner’s daughter.
The wine has a gorgeously complex nose that is a blend of your grandmother’s spice cabinet at first then mellows into soft floral lavender. The palate is elegantly smooth and balanced with a mouthful of plum, berries, cola and roses.
