2007 WindRacer Anderson Valley Chardonnay
One 750ml bottle
Prized for their structure, focus and elegance, Anderson Valley Chardonnays are grown in a climate that is cold, foggy, dry and windy. This wine comes from vineyards between ten and fifteen miles from the Pacific Ocean scattered along ridge tops, benchlands and rolling hillsides. The cool weather throughout the 2007 growing season produced wines with ripe flavors, excellent concentration and great structure.
The Anderson Valley’s cool climate is clearly on display in this '07 Chardonnay. The nose is precise and understated with toasted nuts, custard, nutmeg and orange notes. The palate has amazing richness that is beautifully balanced by the firm, underlying acid.
