2009 Peter Lehmann Eden Valley Riesling
One 750ml bottle
Riesling was first planted in the shallow, rocky soils of the Eden Valley, high in the Barossa ranges, in the early 1850’s. Time has revealed this place to be a natural home for Riesling which, to quote Peter Lehmann, is "the noblest white wine variety."
Pale lemon with green tints, the wine has a floral aroma with distinctive lime notes. The refreshing lime flavors carry through on the palate which has a zesty freshness, a steely minerality and a strikingly clean finish. Drink now or age. In time this wine will develop and honey in the bottle for a further five to ten years.
