2009 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir
One 750ml bottle
An array of exceptional Sonoma Coast viticulturists provide fruit for this complex blend, including the Dutton Brothers, the Martinelli family, William Hill, Charlie Chenoweth and Steve Hill. In 2009, the cool summer and warm unhurried harvest proved to be ideal conditions for these vineyard stars to produce standout Pinot Noir fruit.
The aromas reveal inviting layers of strawberry, cherry, cranberry and Kirsch that are echoed on the palate alongside notes of spice. The tannins are broad and muscular, adding mouth-coating richness and vibrant intensity. Lush and compelling now, but with a depth and structure that bodes well for extended aging.
