The cool, foggy Russian River Valley climate allows for slow ripening, enabling grapes to develop full flavor maturation over an extended time. The grapes were hand-harvested and the wine was crafted using traditional Burgundian techniques. Fermented in small tanks, punched down by hand and aged in 60-gallon French and Hungarian oak barrels, this Pinot Noir is an elegant example of the varietal.

It opens with aromas of ripe Bing cherries and rose petals. Notes of fresh strawberry blend with complex flavors of shiitake mushroom, forest floor, and bright notes of citrus peel. This wine is medium-bodied with well-integrated acidity and supple tannins. Finishes nicely with cola and lovely brown spices.
