2010 Colomé Valle Calchaquí Torrontes
One 750ml bottle
Torrontés is the signature white wine from Argentina, dating from the first vineyards planted in the early 1800’s. Today, the variety enjoys high popularity with viticulturists, wineries and consumers in Argentina and is beginning to be exported internationally, with good reason. It makes a light, refreshing white wine excellent as an aperitif, summer wine, or with light first courses.
With classic medium straw-yellow color, the Muscat aromas of jasmine and honeysuckle in this wine progress into concentrated tropical flavors of guava, apricot, kaffir lime and ruby grapefruit. Nice weight on the palate and a long and pleasing finish.
