2009 Trattore Dry Creek Valley Roussanne
One 750ml bottle
The 2009 Roussanne offers delicate white gold hues with aromas of sweet honeycomb and tropical fruit which is defined, yet soft. On the palate, the slight sweetness of ripe fruit compote flavors offer a lusty, elegant, yet refined Rhone style wine.
2009 brought about nearly five inches of rain to the California North Coast during the middle of harvest. Although this rain presented problems for other later varieties, the Roussanne vineyards were harvested before these series of storms rolled through.
Trattore Wines' vineyards are located on a hilltop on the eastern side of Dry Creek Valley. Extreme hillside farming is employed to produce wines that give the wine lover a true sense of place.
