2008 Swanson Napa Valley Pinot Grigio

750ml wine bottle 750ml wine bottle

The 2008 Pinot Grigio captures what have become the trademark attributes of Swanson Pinot Grigio. Aromas of lychee, Meyer lemon zest and pear can be found in the nose, and are echoed in the mouth. Very long and smooth on the palate, with ample body, this wine is reminiscent of fresh, ripe Pinot Grigio grapes.

Fruit for this wine was sourced primarily from the Oakville Cross Road Estate Vineyard, located in the heart of the Oakville Appellation. The alluvial soils are well-suited to the production of a small crop of intense, concentrated fruit. Additional fruit is selected from the Oak Knoll and Carneros appellations.
