Pine Ridge was one of the first wineries to pair French Dijon clones with Carneros soils using a system that yields intense fruit flavors from smaller berries. The result is a California Chardonnay that is stylistically original, a perfect marriage of both French and California winemaking regions.

The pale golden '07 Dijon Clones Chardonnay is a marvel of delicacy and complexity, with a bouquet that plays fresh yellow apple, white peach and lime leaf off the richer aromas of lightly toasted bread, crystallized sugar and baked pear. On the palate, the bright acidity lifts flavors that echo the nose perfectly with added notes of Gala apple, sweet almond and cream that persist throughout the finish.
