2007 Talley Rosemary's Vineyard Arroyo Grande Valley Chardonnay
One 750ml bottle
The 2007 year began with an unusually cold winter which led to some frost damage. Bud break was very even and the remainder of the year hosted mild temperatures with one unusual heat spike in September. The harvest was small, yet the quality of the fruit was exceptional with concentrated, intense flavors.
The 2007 Talley Rosemary’s Vineyard Chardonnay exhibits aromas of lemon zest, toasted nuts and a touch of oak. On the palate this white wine is round with great acidity and a vibrant mineral structure that leads into a clean, long finish. This Chardonnay is a perfect complement to sautéed sea scallops with steamed mussels in a saffron-lemon broth.
