2006 Amista Saini Farms - Gene's Block Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel
One 750ml bottle
From Mike and Vicky: "This is the second year we have purchased fruit from Saini Farms, located about a mile down the road from us – towards Healdsburg. We get our precious few tons from Gene’s Block, named after Gene Cuneo, who spent his life focused on growing grapes and enjoying wine with family and friends.
Harvest is our favorite time of year and it’s even more fun when we get to share it with friends. It just so happened that friends Kevin and Lorraine were visiting from New Jersey when the Zin was ready to harvest. They were joined by Lorraine’s two sisters and their husbands. They got up early to “help” with the harvest, came to the grand opening of our tasting room, tasted Dry Creek wines they cannot get back home and decided wine country living was a good thing! They all joined our wine club and have vowed to come back every year at harvest time.
