- Origins: President and CEO David Topper and Winemaker and VP Geoff Gorsuch were college roommates at California State University at San Diego.
- Wine and Love: Colleen Topper, head of Hospitality & Public Relations, was a school teacher when she met David Topper on an airplane in 1994; she joined Goosecross as a Hospitality Representative and she and David were married at the winery in 1998.
