Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard
Located just north of Santa Barbara, the Fess Parker Winery and Vineyard lies in the heart of the Santa Barbara County wine country. A true family business, this esteemed California winery exudes the warmth and hospitality of its founder.
When Fess Parker was cast in the role of Davy Crockett in the mid-1950s, it caused an international sensation and changed his life forever. So too did the purchase of 714 acres in the Santa Ynez Valley change the course of the Parker family’s history.
Realizing the potential of Santa Barbara County as a premium grape-growing region, Fess and his son, Eli, originally set out in 1989 to plant a small vineyard and sell fruit to local producers. But, as Fess’ daughter, Ashley explains, “Fess is from Texas, so he can’t do anything small." The Fess Parker Winery and Vineyard now farms almost 400 acres on three vineyards throughout Santa Barbara County.

- Family-Run: The winery is owned and operated by Parker’s family, including son Eli (Chairman of the Board), daughter Ashley (Executive Vice President) and Ashley's husband Tim Snider (President)
- Memorabilia: Visitors to the winery can buy coonskin caps in addition to their delicious wines.
- Awards: Winemaker Blair Fox was named “Andre Tchelistcheff Winemaker of the Year” in the 2008 San Francisco International Wine Competition.
- Recent: Fess Parker passed away at his home near the winery on March 18, 2010.
