The Hawkes family has been growing grapes in the Alexander Valley for more than 30 years. Today they own and farm three vineyards, all planted on sparsely soiled hillsides, and all yielding small amounts of highly intense fruit. When they launched the Hawkes label, they aimed to translate their extraordinary standards for the quality of our grapes into extraordinary wines. 

• Tasting Rooms: Hawkes has two tasting rooms: one in Alexander Valley and one in downtown Sonoma.

• Family Affair: A real family-run venture, the Hawkes name is everywhere; Laura is Tasting Room Manager, Jacob is President and Winemaker, and Stephen is the "Big Cheese."

• Production: Hawkes produces between 3000 to 3500 cases a year.
