A Taste Adventure ... Sonoma Zinfandels 2
Six Elegant Zinfandels From Sonoma County
Six 50ml (1.7 oz.) mini bottles
Sonoma County is one of the largest, most famous, and historic wine regions in California wine country. It have become deservedly renowned for their its ability to make produce voluptuous and spicy Zinfandel. Tantalize your palate with six Zinfandels from four sub-regions all a little bit different but all delicious in their own way. Start with the Acorn from Russian River where the cool climate lets the grapes slowly ripen, producing a wine that is full-bodied but beautifully balanced. The Dutcher Crossing is grown in Dry Creek Valley and includes a touch of Petite Sirah, which compliments its rich blackberry with a lovely earthy mineral quality. The next two wines both come from the larger region of Sonoma County. The low yielding vines on the small lot Watkins Family Winery makes an incredibly complex and fruit-forward wine. The elegance and vibrant acidity on the Bugay brilliantly illustrates mountain-grown Zinfandel. Then, back to Dry Creek Valley for the powerful mid-palate and graceful finish of the Quivera. Lastly, indulge in the pepper and raspberry from Munselle Vineyard in Alexander Valley.
